I think I can save everybody's favorite comic but at a cost

I think I can save Fair-y-Tail. But I will need to make some changes.

 

I admit, the Railroad is a completed failure and all I managed to do is ruin everybody's favorite comic :(


I've completely deleted the Railroad to the Afterlife, as in Shift+Delete, so forget it, it's dead, gone, all files, all panels... gone. What can I say... R.I.P.


Ahh... feel much better.


Sooo... let's talk future.

I think I can make F-Y-T a standalone comic. Sooo... some pages need to be removed/replaced.

All characters from the Railroad that appeared need to removed or replaced, yes this includes Bastet.

 

I will take this opportunity to update some of the character models. Specifically Amaya and Volna, their models are quite old.

 

The idea will stay roughly  the same, and I will reuse old pages.

 

I will keep the backstories. Volna's story will remain the same, I'll just update her model.

Cristal's story will remain the same with the exception of Helena that will be a female centaur. The first idea was specifically designed to be included in the Railroad. (but I had no idea where to go with that)


Upload schedule.

It's going to be messy at first, but the idea is to post 2 pages a week, Monday and Friday, I will have bulk updated when I will use old pages that people already seen.

All comics are on scheduel and beyond

 So I finally manage to complete all pages for The Railroad's FyT part. I've decided to bulk upload them on Dec 1st, since it was getting annoying to have to post a page at the current date then change the time to the original date that is was supposed to be posted (because, from what I've heard, the site sends notifications to subscriber for the set date when uploading and not that there is an update, confusing I know... in short subscribers where not getting notifications) But don't worry, I have enough pages on standby so I'll wont get behind schedule (I hope)

The price of the Library

 After analyzing the list of character styles I've noticed that fanfiction characters are the ones that will be mostly in the 2D style. So.... I think I'm back where I started, as in pages will take a lot more time to make especially when I'll have scenes with fanfiction characters, and there are a lot... I'm starting to think that the transition to 3D was a waste of time and should have stuck with full 2D, but I'm tiered of always redoing the same thing over and over again. Buuuut... on the positive side, this 3D-2D hybrid style will help me a lot with "crowd characters", as in characters that are mostly there to populate the world. As an example, I've used this method with the russian android army, all the soldiers were 3D cell shaded. Sadly this method does not look to good on "biological" characters (humans, animals, creatures), but now with this hybrid style I can make the world a bit more populated more easily.
