The multiple problems of the old versions of FYT and the Railroad

I think I've mentioned some of this before randomly, so sorry if I'm repeating myself.


Unlike the Library, I don't have an ending ready for the Railroad and FyT.

Since the Library has the ending established it's rather easy for me to create the journey for the story and characters by adding obstacles for the characters to overcome.

The Old Railroad...

The Railroad was a failed animation attempt of the Library, many characters were changed mostly because of limitations.

But since the Railroad was the same story with some of the same character designs as the Library it was rather boring to do the same thing twice, not to mention people were confusing the Railroad with the Library and the other way around. (sometimes even I was confusing the two comics)

Even with the merge with F-y-T the Railroad was... I don't know... I had a lot of writers block and a lot of the ideas and scenes that I had I wanted to implement them in the Library.

So I've decided to finally cut my losses and completely remove it.

My only regret is I didn't do this from the very beginning when I failed with the animation

Also, it seemed to me that the title didn't fit the comic anymore, too much afterlife not enough railroad XD


The New Railroad

 With the New Railroad I want to try my hand at a more sci-fi approach than my other comics.

The only characters (but not the designs) that I will keep are: Death, War, Pestilence and Famine (all female)

Characters that will certainly not appear anymore: The Grim Reaper, Katya, Lenin

This time I think I have an ending for this new version.

 Also, I want to simplify the story.

The Old F-y-T

 F-y-T was originally just a porn comic with no story whats so ever, I was rather surprised for it's high readership. In order to help the comic I've attached to the Old Railroad in hopes I can help both comics but that didn't go so well. And now that the Old Railroad is canceled F-y-T's didn't make any sense anymore.

The New F-y-T

The changes to the new F-y-T are not going to be so drastic and since I'm making changes I want to take the opportunity to upgrade Volna and Amaya's models (and this time Volna has a little something extra ;D )

Most pages will stay the same and some scenes will be extended since now the comic is independent.

There are no changes to the backstories with only two exceptions, Volna's new model. And Helena will be a female.

Now, I would like you to consider a few things.

1. Keep in mind that, as pretty as the comics look, I am not a professional comic book artist.

2. My comics are in "early access" as in I publish each page as I finish it, so yeah... page deletions will happen (not all are winners in the end)


I apologies for all the confusion, hopefully this year everything will be a lot more

All comics are on scheduel and beyond

 So I finally manage to complete all pages for The Railroad's FyT part. I've decided to bulk upload them on Dec 1st, since it was getting annoying to have to post a page at the current date then change the time to the original date that is was supposed to be posted (because, from what I've heard, the site sends notifications to subscriber for the set date when uploading and not that there is an update, confusing I know... in short subscribers where not getting notifications) But don't worry, I have enough pages on standby so I'll wont get behind schedule (I hope)

The price of the Library

 After analyzing the list of character styles I've noticed that fanfiction characters are the ones that will be mostly in the 2D style. So.... I think I'm back where I started, as in pages will take a lot more time to make especially when I'll have scenes with fanfiction characters, and there are a lot... I'm starting to think that the transition to 3D was a waste of time and should have stuck with full 2D, but I'm tiered of always redoing the same thing over and over again. Buuuut... on the positive side, this 3D-2D hybrid style will help me a lot with "crowd characters", as in characters that are mostly there to populate the world. As an example, I've used this method with the russian android army, all the soldiers were 3D cell shaded. Sadly this method does not look to good on "biological" characters (humans, animals, creatures), but now with this hybrid style I can make the world a bit more populated more easily.
